Our experience in our area has enabled the company to take similar initiatives on a more urban and national level by working in various London Neighbourhoods e.g. Camden, Merton, Bexley, Enfield, Barnet and Thames Festival. Many of these relationships have been ongoing for a number of years now. You can see our lily lanterns in the fountains at Trafalgar Square as part of Diwali each year.
Same Sky has also played an active part in an ongoing schools project, taking place in Kumasi, Ghana (see Uckfield Festival on the ‘Schools’ page for more info) over the past three years, as well as the provision of specific skills to projects in Denmark, and Calcutta, India.
LUMOS BURNING DESIRES
In addition, we have been working in other regions, such as taking our Valencian Las Fallas style making and events to Nottingham (see Whitehawk Fiesta video on the ‘In your neighbourhood’ page as an example).

DERRY HALLOWEEN
A new collaboration has been formed with the Derry Playhouse to create a community workshop programme for the Derry Halloween parade. The Banks of the Foyle Halloween Carnival is all about colour, costume and being seen by the Crazy Costume Competition judges. Same Sky worked with local communities to create ghost trains, ghouls, spooks and freaky Halloween fare for all ages.

AMIENS
Same Sky models have also been successfully exported out of the country. A number of projects have taken place in Northern France over the past few years under the Interreg IIIa programme. We went to Amiens in Northern France to make dragons and lanterns for Zap Productions’ EU Interreg project. Based in the amazing creation centre we worked with the local people and schools to make a New Year parade. Later in the year we returned with pyrotechnicians The World Famous, and samba maestros, Carnival Collective for a fiery parade for the climax of the Vive Cite festival.
