Same Sky was commissioned to make an interactive effigy of Tim Henman for Robinsons, sponsors of Wimbledon 2007. Artists Paul Harrington and Graeme Gilmour created Tim’s classic serving pose with digital mapping and using steel rod and industrial shrink wrap.
Big Tim stood at the entrance to Wimbledon entertaining the queue each day. Participants could throw or serve tennis balls at Tim to comments from the umpire – if they hit his racquet the balls rolled down his arm and filled him up.
