We’re very excited to announce that ARKA Original Funerals are sponsoring Burning the Clocks 2016. Arka Original Funerals want to give something back to the Brighton Community and have asked us to create 25 ‘In Memory’ lanterns at Burning the Clocks, for those mourning a loved one who has died in the last 12 months.

The new ‘In Memory’ lantern packages will celebrate the lives of lost loved ones and were launched as part of the Burning the Clocks Crowdfunder on Tuesday 1 November. Each package, worth £100, includes two places at the parade and at the after party, plus a reading of their names at the bonfire on the beach.

Cara Mair, co-founder, ARKA Orginial Funerals said: “We’re delighted to be supporting an event that’s such an integral part of Brighton’s winter calendar. It’s also great to be able to provide people a unique and special commemoration opportunity for those who have lost someone during the year.”

If you would like to take part in Burning the Clocks with on of these very special commemorative lanterns, for a loved one, please write to ARKA Original Funerals, 136 Islingword Road, Brighton, B2N 9SH. The first 25 will be invited to join the parade on 21st December.
