Same Sky produces a range of professionally led site-specific works with integrated community participation. These projects allow us to work with specific artists, local groups, student courses etc enabling them to share in producing events to the highest professional standards.

DIVERS – INNER HARBOUR, BRIGHTON MARINA |

|
|
A ship wreck backwards? An underwater ballet? A trip with Jacques Cousteau? Overall a dreamlike world where we saw a wreck conjured up out of the Marina basin to reform itself into a fiery spectacle. Working with a range of community groups including the indefatigable Diving Club and Brighton University students we all got very wet!! This piece of one off public art was commissioned as part of a programme of permanent and temporary art at Brighton Marina.

THE WEDDING – FORTY HALL, ENFIELD |
|
|
|
Wedded to the earth. The audience gather and our participants divided into groom and brides parties for a walk around the grounds of Forty Hall in Enfield. Along the way they see the preparations and the wedding itself before joining the happy couple for a feast in the courtyard. Pyrotechnics by The World Famous.

TREEHOUSE – SAME SKY BASE |
|
|
|
A great way to open our new production venue (an old post office building) - teams of our artists worked alongside trainees to create an animated walk through a tree. Starting at the roots we made our way through the dappled light of the leaf canopy till at last we reached the light and the branches. Along the journey we found interactive installations with tunnels, games and much wisecrackery.
